The beginning of a new journey

Years of thoughts and discussions; months of planning and lots of execution days have finally started taking shape. Halabol is ready to go live and with it our dream of building a platform for the community.

Planning, re-planning, re-re-planning; ideation, dumping-ideas, brainstorming, working on those new ideas, executing them and then finally getting something constructive. Its been a hectic yet an awesome journey so far and with the support of all you Karmyogis this can be much bigger and even more awesome.

The problem-idea-solution: There are enough problems in our country, ranging from poverty to education to female infanticide to animal cruelty to health to clean drinking water and the list goes on. While not all of them catch our attention or are of our interest, for some of them we really feel sometimes and the urge to do something keeps popping up!

Halabol is a platform that allows individuals like you to read and understand these problems and then use your skills to help and solve them right from your home or office. It allows you to raise your voice, join and support a cause and try and make an impact for the betterment of the society. Its a unique platform which allows the like minded to come together and make a change in the country.

In order to eradicate any problem from its roots, the first step is to learn about the problem itself. Once we are clear where the issue originates from, where it resides, what are the steps taken, what are the challenges and why is not getting resolved, only then can we think about working towards the resolution of the problem. Hence, over the next few months we would be getting a lot of Social Service Organizations on board at Halabol. With their help we would be generating awareness about a lot of causes and educate everyone, thus completing the first and the most important step.

Here we would be creating Campaigns about the problems we are addressing. There would also be Petitions where you as a Karmyogi would be required to play your part. You can get aligned to the Causes and in some cases sign the related Petitions, online with the click of a mouse and show your support for the Cause.

Over the next few weeks, we would also be launching a lot of services where we would empower you with tools, which will allow you to help these Causes/NGOs that too sitting right at your workplace! But, you’ll have to wait a little for that :)

Well, our objective is clear, in this uneven country, we share what we can – be it time, be it skill or maybe money and eventually make India a better place to live. Halabol dreams to be India’s biggest “online community driven social hub” and with the combined efforts of all of us, in the coming months this is definitely possible. Amen.
